I have many incredible features. My hair these days just doesn’t happen to be my best one. So, while I’ll test out shampoos and conditioners and random hair products, I never expect great miracles. And yet I’m pretty sure I found one with Luseta Glossy Pearl Shampoo & Conditioner.

What is Luseta?

I’m a big fan of affordable and accessible luxury, and Luseta haircare products definitely bring salon-grade quality to the drug store.

Luseta's products are all-natural, paraben-free, sulfate-free, color-safe, and cruelty-free and are designed for all hair types. So when I received a great big box of Luseta samples, I didn’t know where to begin. Since I can’t review all their products, I’ll share a couple of standouts.

Luseta Glossy Pearl shampoo and conditioner

For some reason this collection spoke to me most. Maybe it was the mermaid hair hinted at in the product description. Probably it was the idea that hydrolyzed pearl was on the ingredient list.

Here’s what I love:

• The scent. It smells so freaking good that a random woman at the grocery store asked me which shampoo I used.

• It enhances your color. Everyone has been complimenting me on my highlights. That’s kind of odd because I haven’t lightened my hair in any real way in months. The formula is so incredibly nourishing that even the bottom of my ponytail has this almost (wait for it) pearlescent glow.

• I didn’t even bother checking reviews. As a beauty writer, I almost always check the number of reviews on a product to see what people are saying. I love the Luseta Glossy Pearl Shampoo and Conditioner set so much that until about five minutes ago I had no idea what anyone else thought. Since there are as of the publishing of this post 14,253 positive ratings on Amazon, I’d say I’m in good company. ($24.74 for the duo).

• You should also check out Luseta Biotin Leave in Conditioner. It’s like the grown up version of Johnson’s No More Tangles. It adds volume, detangles and has biotin and collagen to help with the look of hair loss.
