Hello, Gorgeous!
I’ve been up to my eyeballs in a new project (yay!) so am a bit behind on posting gift guides (boo).
Here are a few great gifties for people you still haven’t checked off your naughty or nice list. Incidentally, if something comes beautifully packaged, I’ll add BP after the deets, so you’ll know that no gift wrapping is necessary. I’ll also be posting a last-minute beauty gifts/gadgets/stocking stuffers guide next week.
I may earn a small commission from sales made using the links in this post. Probably not since I’m generally too lazy to chase down affiliate links, but you never know!
For the world traveler/binge watcher
I’m slightly obsessed with Fishers Finery 100% Pure Cashmere Fringe Throw. It’s feather light, soft as a cloud and nearly weightless. It can also be used as a wrap or light blankie while staring at a screen. You should know that these are going fast! ($205, Amazon). BP
A giftie for the Swiftie
Aembr has an incredible assortment of candles, and one line specifically for Taylor Swift fans. 1989 is a luxury coconut wax candle with notes of sea salt, clary sage, ambrette seeds and the best era of their life! (About $60, aembr.co).
For the host with the most
If your best bud loves entertaining, you might want to treat me them to a handcrafted block dyed tablecloth from Saffron Marigold. Woodland Ferns is a beautifully mellow pattern with shades of light blue and sage green in a softly undulating pattern that also comes with matching napkins and curtains. (Starting at about $99, Saffronmarigold.com).
For the one who lights up a room
This lovely Menorah Candle by Taja Collection pays tribute to Chanukah, the Jewish holiday also known as the Festival of Lights. With increased antisemitism in the world it’s been a scary time to be Jewish. This is a thoughtful way to show your pal that you’re a friend, ally, and excellent gift giver. ($68, Tajacollection.com)
For the classy nosher
We all have friends for whom a random Kit Kat just isn’t enough. Caroline’s Cakes makes gorgeous cakes (of course they do!). They also make incredible cake bites which are like Oreos elevated, delish cake dipped in chocolate or other toppings and beautifully packaged. If you’re not sure which holiday someone celebrates, you can always send them Pink Champagne Cake Bites as a New Year’s treat. ($25, for the Cake Bites, but shipping is $20. CarolinesCakes.com). P.S. I love this idea so much that I just ordered some for a favorite client. BP
For the Gen X game player
A recent episode of daytime soap General Hospital referenced Stratego, a board game that’s been delighting players since 1946. Beyond the online version, you can treat your favorite retro friend to an actual board game with the updated version of Stratego. Want to be an even better bud? Create and commit to a weekly game night* ($26, Amazon.com).
For your Mini Me
In case you missed it, Vera Bradley has moved beyond quilted fabric bags to lovely leather goods. This teeny tiny crossbody duffel doesn’t actually hold much, but it’s ridiculously cute for a night out with friends. Or for the tween in your life who only needs room for a lipgloss! ($87, Verabradley.com).
For the late bloomer
If your bestie is feeling burnt out, she might need a bit of inspiration from illustrator/author/cyclist Lisa Congdon. Congdon, whose work has appeared at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), began her art career in her early 40s. These joyous oversized sunglasses are part of a new collaboration with Smith. ($195, Smithoptics.com).
For the foodie influencer wannabe
I recently attended a potluck dinner bearing a SnackleBox filled with fruit, veggies, cheese and condiments. A hushed silence fell over the guests as everyone tried to figure out what it was before pulling out their phones to order one. In a word, SnackleBox by Farberware is a portable charcuterie board, allowing you to create literal movable feasts. (Starting at $16.99, Amazon).
For the friend with wanderlust
Sigh. I dream about seeing the Northern Lights in all their spectacular glory. I’m betting you have a friend with similar dreams. Danforth Aurora Wind Wire Earrings are inspired by the Northern Lights. Each piece is handpainted in a variety of stunningly blended blue hues. ($37.95, Danforthpewter.com).
Cozy fleece for caregivers
If you have friends who are medical providers or first responders, you need to know about Care + Wear. Their womens reversable fleece jacket is cozy and dare I say it, stylish, with interesting detailing on the cuffs and a softer than usual fleece finish. And I guess it goes without saying that it is in face reversable. It also is available up to size XXL. Notable, Care + Wear also has a beautiful collection in partnership with Josie Natori, as well as beautifully and thoughtfully made healthwear clothing for people undergoing treatment.
A perfect press
While I love the ritual of coffee prep and savoring, I’m not much of a coffee drinker. That said, I really love Simpli Press which elevates the entire experience. Here’s why. Simpli Press seems to create brews while banning bitterness. It’s pretty enough for prime countertop space, easy to clean, and creates delicious coffee in about 3-minutes ($80, Simplipress.coffee).
A quieter blender
If you live with someone intent on creating the perfect smoothie, you’ll love the Nutribullet Ultra. While it boasts 1200 watts of power, it’s also engineered to produce sound at a lower frequency than previous models, making it the quietest single-serve blender yet. And those blades are super sharp. It also comes in a handful of beautiful colors so it’ll match nearly any kitchen. Like everything else I share, the prices are as listed at the time of this post. But it looks like you can score a Nutribullet Ultra for about $114 right now on Amazon, as opposed to its usual $150 pricetag.
And that’s it for now. So, have you completed your shopping or are you still looking for that one special treat? Let’s discuss in the comments!

*Shout-out to my Friday night Mahjong fam 🀄.
Happy Friday & Weekend Rachel - great suggestions!!
My husband would love a quieter blender as he rolls his eyes every time the kids or I make a smoothie. (Practically every day)
