Hello, Gorgeous!
Have you ever tried a product that does exactly what it claims to? I did, and I think you’ll like it, too.
Innisfree Green Tea Enzyme Vitamin C Brightening + Exfoliating Toner Pads
I love these toner pads, but must admit that something weirded me out a bit.
Whenever I review a product—either here, or for one of the outlets I write for— I quickly check the reviews. It’s not that I’m swayed by said reviews - quite the opposite. I initially distrust a majority of posted reviews, but I like to see what people love or hate about any product or if there are recurring themes. When I looked at the Sephora reviews for these Innisfree toner pads, every single one said incentivized, meaning people were compensated in some way to post said reviews. It gave me pause. But not enough to make me change my mind about this fantastic product.
The ingredient list is impressive.
Pure vitamin C + niacinamide helps brighten and fade dark spots, and the ghosts of breakouts past. Green tea-derived enzyme + PHA gently exfoliates to dissolve dead skin cells. A blend of hyaluronic acid, madecassoside (better known as centella or cica), along with allantoin & Panthenol soothes and softens skin.
How to use Innisfree toner pads
First off, they work - and really quickly, which is something you expect from innovative K-Beauty brands.
There are three ways to use these toner pads.
To quickly brighten your face, use the bamboo side (it’s cream colored). Swipe across face and neck for a quick softening and very gentle skin boost.
To tackle dark spots, place the orange side down (that’s the one that’s infused with vitamin C). Consider it a mini sheet mask and leave on for up to 20 minutes. If you have multiple areas with dark spots, you can cut each pad for a more customized approach.
My favorite way to use them is to swipe and then treat. Cream-colored side first, followed by the orange side to tackle dark or uneven areas.
If this all sounds vaguely familiar to you, it’s because the Innisfree toner pads are the second product in the Innisfree Green Tea Enzyme Vitamin C collection, following the serum that launched last year and became a brand best-seller. In all, these are great for when you’re short on time, are traveling or just returned from a trip, or to recharge your skin care routine. ($28, Sephora).
