Some years ago I dated a rather hirsute guy. While his full head of thick black hair was incredibly impressive, his full neck bangs were decidedly less so.

In the years since that unfortunate alliance I’ve learned that some men are great at grooming, others, not so much. Most men I know fall someplace in the middle, wanting to look polished but not committed to spending too much time on it. That’s where NuNorm comes in.

NuNorm for Men

NuNorm is a new line of makeup for men. It’s unapologetic, which is incredibly refreshing. Since the men in my life aren’t quite ready for makeup but have often asked me about eyebrow or ‘stache/beard grooming, I’ll focus on their brow products.

In case you’re wondering, I actually did test out NuNorm’s Brow Tamer on my own brows and on an unwilling a willing guy friend. I also reached out to brand reps to find out how a brow product created for men differs than one made for women. Here’s what they had to say:

NuNorm caters to coarser hair textures as men naturally have thicker more rugged brow hair.

The Brow Tamer has extra hold to tame unruly facial hair (brows, mustaches, beards, sideburns) while also softening, giving more skincare-infused benefits.

Interestingly enough, even though the products are created for coarser hair, the finish is more natural-looking and more subtle than women’s eyebrow products which often allow for more brow definition.

NuNorm also has a cover up with a nice variety of shades and a tinted moisturizer created for men’s coarser skin. My fave product is the Shine Eraser pressed powder for men. Men’s faces shine too!
