Hello, Gorgeous!
I recently read that koalas sleep between 18-22 hours a day. They also socialize for 15 minutes daily. You know what koalas do the rest of the time? They eat.
This seems like a very well-balanced way to spend the winter months.
If you can’t spend the entire day in bed, you can at least pretend to with this great big scarf that feels like a blanket. And you can take it with you wherever you go so everyone can ooh and aah at your craftiness.
Start an easy craft to get you through the holidays
Unless you’re a speedy or experienced crafter, chances are good that you won’t be able to make this scarf as a holiday gift. But you can take it with you while you travel, providing an easy way to ignore everyone around you as you focus on crocheting. And when it’s completed, you can wrap yourself up for maximum coziness.
I’ve been crafting most of my life (I started crocheting at four), and feel almost twitchy if I don’t have a project close at hand.
I really love this Lion Brand Yarn crochet kit, Winterwish blanket. It’s about $27, and comes with full easy to understand instructions (it’s a project for beginners) and all yarn needed to complete your project.
Are you tempted to make like a koala and hibernate for the winter? What about crafting or crocheting? Is that your thing? Let’s discuss in the comments.
