Hello Gorgeous!
I should probably post this someplace prominent, but any product recommendations I make are just those— recommendations based on my own experience and professional knowledge. Of course you should always consult with your dermatologist or doctor before trying anything a bit more complicated. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, you’re probably going to want to splurge on your own NIRA Pro Laser.
What you should know about the NIRA Pro Laser
Contrary to public trends, I don’t go and have never even tried Botox or fillers. If that’s your thing, good for you! It just isn’t my thing and I don’t write about it. As it turns out though, I do love non-invasive aesthetic spa and med spa treatments. I’m also a fan of really great at-home devices that mimic the effects of derm treatments. The NIRA pro laser definitely falls into that category.
How does it work? NIRA works by stimulating natural collagen production to ultimately smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Claims say that you’ll see younger looking skin in 90 days. For me it was about two weeks until I noticed a visible if tiny difference. The results were consistent and visible incrementally over the next few weeks.
Does it hurt? That’s a good question. If you have a low pain threshold, you might feel the little twinge every time the laser hits your skin. For me the pain was minimal. I started at level one and worked my way up to four, which is where I stayed.
Here’s what else I love about the NIRA:
It’s FDA cleared. There are so many sketchy devices on the market. Before you use anything purporting to change your collagen makeup, you should make sure it is approved to do just that.
You can choose your treatment level. If you have very sensitive skin or prefer to start at a lower level of intensity, you can choose between five levels from low to the highest.
It’s safe for all skin types. This is big since so many home laser or laser treatments in general can be sketchy or unsafe for darker skins.
There’s no down time. For some reason I started doing my treatments in the morning. Common sense tells me that evening would be a better idea. Either way, it doesn’t irritate my skin or leave random red bumps anywhere.
You can use it all over your body. While the NIRA seems to have been made for your face, it’s safe to use on your hands or neck or on old scars.
It’s portable, lightweight and holds a charge for a while. You can take it with you when traveling with a minimal amount of hassle.
What I don’t love:
It costs $599. That’s a lot to shell out at once, but if you factor in a single treatment vs. ongoing use, the price evens out to about $6.50 per use.
The larger treatment tip. While it’s awesome for covering more space at once, it also means that you can’t zero in on smaller areas. I’m told you can buy a smaller tip, but it’s not easy to track down and I think you can only buy it when initially purchasing your NIRA Precision Laser.
Bottom line
The NIRA Precision Laser is hands down the best at-home treatment device I’ve tried. It also makes for a great splurgey holiday gift for your mom or mother-in-law or bestie.
I’ll post an update after using it for 90 days to let you know if I’m still a NIRA super fan.
In all, I rate NIRA Precision Laser💄💄💄💄💄. If your crow’s feet bother you enough to try a treatment, this could be a viable and effective option. I love it.
Two more things:
Before you ask, no, I will not be posting before and after pics. The thought of someone googling my name and finding a before pic is something I can do without!
Here are some helpful FAQs on the NIRA site if you’re interested in more info.
So, what are you thoughts on NIRA or home treatment gadgets in general? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
