I can't do the laundry smells anymore - went deep dive in my 20s on those clean linen & laundry candle scents & wore them out. Now it's just clean, fresh, but not cleaning scents - a difficult line. I'm now drawn to warm scents! Also feel like smelling like food is something I am not ready to revive from my teens lol 🙃

That's so interesting. I can relate to the scent overload. And I love that you know what appeals to you and what you avoid! I am weirdly drawn to the scent of laundry, so much so that I'll stop to inhale whenever I pass by a house with some warm scented laundry smoke drifting out :)

Don’t get the fascination with smelling like food. Hard pass.

For a while I loved the cherry/almond combo from Aveda. But for the most part, I'm not a fan!

I've gotten away from scents, mostly because so many are artificial and give me headaches because my sense of smell is really sensitive. I have to walk out of some stores because of it. That said, I like some natural incense like cedar or citrus. I like clean scents like linen.

I'm with you on all of the above! I like barely there scents. I used to take 3 trains each way to get to work and every subway car brought with it scents that were torturous!

Interesting about the incense. Sea Witch Botanicals has some fabulous scents!

I will check those out from Sea Witch. I found a great one in Santa Fe for cedar from Incienso de Sante Fe which is natural wood. I love the Japanese ones, but they are $$.

When I find a scent that I love and that works on me I get stuck on it, but mix it up with complementary scents. It's aromatherapy for me.

Great point! While I love receiving compliments on whatever scent I'm wearing, I generally choose them based on what I love.
